Doc. dr Danilo Babin

Profesor

Dr Danilo Babin je docent na FEFA. Diplomirao je 2007. godine na Fakultetu tehničkih nauka Univerziteta u Novom Sadu na odseku za Energetiku, elektroniku i telekomunikacije.

Doktorirao je 2013. godine na Fakultetu inženjerstva i arhitekture (Faculteit Ingenieurswetenschappen en Architectuur) Univerziteta u Gentu (Universiteit Gent), Kraljevina Belgija iz oblasti digitalne obrade slike – računarstvo (Doctor of Computer Science Engineering).

Od 2013. godine zaposlen je kao istraživač postdoktorand na katedri za Telekomunikacije i obradu informacija, Fakulteta inženjerstva i arhitekture Univerziteta u Gentu, gde je i predavač na predmetu Kompjuterska grafika.

U toku studija i dosadašnjem radu učestvovao je u pisanju i vođenju brojnih projekata na belgiskom i međunardnom nivou. Dobitnik je Inovacionog mandata (Innovation Mandate) agencije za Inovacije kroz nauku i tehnologiju (agentschap voor Innovatie door Wetenschap en Technologie – IWT) Flamanske vlade u Belgiji 2014. godine. Oblasti naučnog i stručnog interesovanja dr Danila Babina su: digitalna obrada slike, analiza medicinskih slika, računarske mreže i telekomunikacije.
